Q: How do I report a problem to the web team?

Q: How do I buy a GRARA Name Badge
A: Go to the About Us page and select Our Online Store then Club Badges. (Or click here)

Q: How do I update the GRARA Calendar?
A: You start by clicking the Calendar button on the website toolbar. Then on the lower right corner on the calendar, you click the +Google Calendar button. You may then by asked for an approved Google Account Username/Password.

If you have a Google Account username(email address) and password, enter it at this time, check the remember me box and push the Sign in button.

If you don't have a Google Account or you name is not in the calendar system, see the next question.

Q: How do I get update privileges to the GRARA Calendar?
A: You start by clicking the Calendar button on the website toolbar. Then on the lower right corner on the calendar, you click the +Google Calendar button. You may then by asked for an approved Google Account Username/Password.

If you have a Google Account username(email address) and password, enter it at this time, check the remember me box and push the Sign in button. As a last step for the first time user, send your Google Username (email address) to the GRARA webmaster and request edit access. (The Suggestion Box Tool works well for this step.) The webmaster will reply by email when the access is entered into the system. If you followed this procedure, you should not have to enter a username/password in the future from your computer.

If you don't have a Google Account, press the create an account button on the sign-in screen and follow the instructions to setup a free account. Then complete the procedure in the paragraph above.

Q: What is the GRARA Yahoo Group?
A: What is the GRARA Yahoo Group, you ask? It's a bulletin board specifically made to keep members and friends up to date on club activities, treasures for sale, questions and comments on a daily basis. You can keep track of "what's happening" in any of three ways.

The first way is to go to the yahoo site by clicking the link here. If you join the free group, you will also be able to select getting an email every time someone posts a message, once a day in a digest or only if a moderator sends out a special message. (Most members get a single daily digest, some choose not get any email at all.) You can also return to the site and search for whatever "tickles your fancy."

This is a moderated group. Moderators reserve the right to remove "unfriendly postings" or spam.

Q: How do I join the GRARA Yahoo Group?
A: Although you can set up an account by yourself, it is sometimes easier for you to ask the web team to set it up for you. Click here to send an email to the web team.

If you currently have a Yahoo account (for email, or another Yahoo group) let us know what your username is and what email address you would like to use to receive email. We will initially set you up the get the daily digest, but you can change that later.

If you DO NOT currently have a Yahoo account (for email, or another Yahoo group) send us the username you would like to use (like Mike_W8DER or whatever) and the email address where you would like to receive email. Yahoo will send you a validation email to check the email address and we will send you your password, which you can change later. If you currently do not have an email address, this process will setup a free Yahoo address, like [username]@Yahoo.com.

Members of the web team are also at the Wednesday Open Radio Room and can help you join from there.
